The first Czech audio mobile shooter for (not only) visually impaired players. The players strive to liberate themselves from the throes of a powerful dragon, escape from a stone tower and wander and thither in the far-away land of Laudonia. Hordes of enemies lie in waiting at each step of the dangerous wanderings – bloodthirsty sheep, giant spiders, skeletons, zombie trees and lots of other dark creatures strive to seize the players' soul. The players, however, are endowed with a mission that drives them forward.
The gesture-based controls reflect how smart phones are operated by blind people using a screen reader (VoiceOver, Talkback).
About half of the team working on the development consisted of visually impaired people.
To design the game in a way that would make it accessible to both visually impaired and sighted players. The game controls are based on gestures used by blind people to operate mobile phones using a screen reader. However, gestures such as swiping with two fingers are unfamiliar to the average sighted user, so it was necessary to set up the gestures so that even a player not used to them would be able to work with them. There are also visual help options.
