Czech Centre Taipei Presented the Infinite Universes Project at Taipei Game Show, Showcasing the Czech Gaming Industry to the Taiwanese Audience.

Czechia, through Czech Centre Taipei, participated from 23 to 26 January 2025 in Taipei Game Show, Taiwan’s largest gaming expo. Visitors at the Nangang Exhibition Center had the opportunity to explore not only hundreds of games, primarily of Asian origin, but also to discover the Czech video game industry.

The Czech booth in the B2C section introduced the audience to Infinite Universes, a network project by Czech Centres focused on showcasing the unique worlds created by Czech game developers. Attendees could play internationally acclaimed titles such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Arma, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Gray Zone Warfare, and Mafia, as well as independent projects like Mashinky and the mobile game Playing Kafka, which was translated into Chinese last year with the support of Czech Centre Taipei.

Czechia was also represented in the B2B zone, where, in cooperation with CzechInvest, Czech companies Filuta AI, Cyber Sail, and the Czech Game Developers Association GDACZ  showcased their work.

Additionally, Pavel Barák, the chairman of the association, delivered a presentation as part of the event’s industry program.

An Exhibition Project Showcasing Contemporary Czech Games Abroad

The exhibition project Infinite Universes – Czech Games and Their Global Success initiated by the Czech Centres and produced in cooperation with a wide range of partners aims to introduce contemporary Czech games in all their complexity – not only by showcasing the individual games, but also by presenting the creative process, focusing on selected elements that define the studios and their approach to the chosen theme, or their connection to artistic and educational practices.
