On 8–9 October 2026, the Student Games Festival took place at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, bringing together students, schools and professionals from the games industry. The festival also featured the Infinite Universes exhibition, presented in Poland by the Czech Centre Warsaw.
Visitors could try out Czech games and at the same time look behind the scenes of their development through concept art, artbooks, objects and figurines, game music on vinyl, and video interviews with Czech creators. Alongside well-known titles, the exhibition also presented lesser-known independent projects, highlighting the diversity of Czech game development.
An important part of the festival was also the Polish-Czech Videogames Forum, which created space for Czech and Polish students, schools, game industry professionals and cultural institutions to meet and exchange ideas. Czech student games were also among the titles nominated at the festival. Speakers included Jakub Dvorský from Amanita Design, Pavel Barák from the Czech Game Developers Association, Jarek Kolář from Ingame Studios and Andrej Sýkora from FAMU. The Czech Centres also took part in the panel Co-op Mode: How EUNIC Cultural Institutes Support Games, focused on how cultural institutions can support games and connect them with new audiences. The special musical guest of the closing gala was the Czech duo DVA.
