A sandbox game (a style of game that allows the player to freely modify the game environment) about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, wheeled vehicles, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored.

VRAGE2 engine is designed to support extremely large and fully dynamic destructible environments, including planets measuring up to 120 km in diameter and 45,238 km² large, huge spaceships and other player-built elements.

About studio

KEEN SOFTWARE HOUSE

Founded by the Slovak programmer, developer and entrepreneur Marek Rosa, the studio specialises in computer games that combine science and creativity. The studio's first game was Miner Wars Arena (2012). Keen Software House gained worldwide recognition with Space Engineers (2019). All concepts and technologies included in their science fiction games can be explained using modern knowledge with minimal need for extrapolation. In Medieval Engineers (2020), they stick to historical accuracy. They strive to revive interest in space exploration, physics, history and the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
