Hobo: Tough Life is an urban survival role-playing game where you play as a homeless person. Explore the streets of the cold central-European Praslav, scavenge for food and supplies, beg, steal and do whatever else it takes to survive the forthcoming winter. The player experiences dozens of stories inspired by real people and events. How far will he be willing to go to survive and become the king of the homeless?
The game is full of humorous pop culture references mainly from Czechia, such as names of celebrities.
The fictional city of Praslav features real landmarks from and actual cities from around Czechia, such as Prague Main Train Station.
Due to the lengthy development, it became an issue to keep up with the engine updates. At one point, the developers were essentially working on two games at once.

Perun Creative
Perun Creative was founded by the young developers Jan Polach, Roman Valenta and Jiří Vašica. The studio is located in the Moravian-Silesian region – one of the regions with the highest unemployment in Czechia – in order to create interesting job opportunities in game development in this region. The first successful project of the studio is their Hobo: Tough Life (2021), which the three developers created during their university studies. The studio is currently working on a new game called Kromlech.
